I made this simple, easy to make Halloween card. I thought you might be able to use it, with Halloween right around the corner. It only has a few pieces, so would be easy enough for children to help you with.

To use the svg file, import it into scal. First set default size on library to 11.5. Then you will get a nice card, about six x 7, and will be able to be cut from an 8/12x11 or 12x12 piece of card stock. If you are going to make an envelope, that might be a little large, as the envelope would need a larger than 12x12 piece of paper, which you wouldn't be able to find. I have some greeting card size envelopes already purchased, and it fits fine in one of those.
