Clothes for Princesses..free svgs

For the princess in all of us, here are some clothes usually seen on movie stars!I had fun coming up with these today. Once again I am "out of town" and in a hotel room, so have lots of free design time. I can't cut this week, didn't bring my Cricut this time. If you have any problems with a file, let me know.

Scrapbook Page Layout to cut on Cricut if you have SCAL

I have created another complete layout for your scrapbook page, to cut out on your Cricut if you have the Sure Cuts A Lot software. This is a versatile mosaic type page. By rotating it or flipping it, you can vary the placement of the picture and make it look different. If you cut out two separate layouts from double-sided paper, you can interchange the pieces to get the patchwork look. The svg file includes the frame with the rectangles, and the hearts, circles and stars, to mix and match for embellishments. The lollipop came from the paper dolls cartridge. The font I used for the lettering was 2 PEAS GIGGLE.I sized the frames to be able to be cut from a 8 1/2 by 11 inch piece of paper. If you have a 12x12 piece of paper on the mat, you will be able to fit the letters for your titles on the right hand side of the paper.

The block for the photo is 4 x 4 inches. You could put 2x2 inch photos in some of the squares. You can let the background paper show through on some of the squares too. You could embellish the squares with stickers, instead of the cut outs.
Though I used Christmas paper, and paper will do. Using double sided paper, where there is a coordinating color or pattern on the back, just simplifies your cutting.
The paper I used was a Martha Stewart paper pad I picked up at Walmart, at the clearance sale. I might go see if they have any at 75% off.

Baby svg files to cut on your Cricut if you have Sure Cuts A Lot

Here are just a few of the adorable babies you can cut from all the babies in this svg file. I don't think my screen shot below is showing up that well, but trust me, there are a lot of cut babies in this file, sleeping, crawling, standing, etc. A few of them even have on clothes!

To get the ones I show, just download this file. If you don't know how to use inkscape, it is already set up to import in scal, and be cut on a smaller cricut mat. But it only has the five babies you see.

You cut the outline in black, then the "skin" in flesh tones. There are cut outs for the eyes, mouths, belly buttons, that show through. Use a pin to "poke" out their eyes if they don't come out right away. Or just use the holes as a guideline of where to draw yours in. Even the clothes have an outline, and then the clothing. The clothed babies require you to cut their clothes in another color as well.

Just open the big file in inkscape, and drag and drop the pieces so you can layout the paper as needed.

I'm sure these will make cute adornments of all your adorable baby pictures.
