New ! Lakes & Links Fishing Tournament

We are always looking for something fun for our guests to do and thought " They love to fish and love to golf -why don't we let them do both? Let's do it for cash! So, we have put together what we think is an awesome tournament - one day of golf at the Eagle River Golf Course and one day of fishing Little St. Germain Lake to win cash money! The tournament will be held on Friday and Saturday June 3 and 4, 2011 (which, by the way is free fishing weekend in Wisconsin so you don't even have to have a license!) and we plan on making it a yearly event.




The fee of $ 199 per person (2 person teams) includes 2 nights of lodging, 18 holes of golf with boxed lunch, a $50 entry fee for the tournament, and Sunday morning breakfast banquet. We'll even provide a boat and motor for fishing if you don't have one! The cash awards will be based on the entries - it is 100% payback so the more that enter, the more you can win!

The Count Down Continues to OktoBEARfest!

OktoBEARfest is just 4 days away and we are busy getting the Black Bear Lodge and Bear's Den Bar & Grill on Little St. Germain Lake ready for the 11th annual OktoBEARfest. Amy Linnett from WRJO radio will be broadcasting live from 9 am to 12 noon, come by and say Hi to Amy. There will be drawings for prizes every hour on the hour. Grand Prize is a 2 night stay at the Black Bear Lodge. We have some "New" vendors this year, to be sure to check out - Lisa Koening's one of a kind soft cloth doll witches, snowmen, and angels, and Penny Engel's hand painted ceramic's and glass, to name a few. OktoBEARfest is on Sat. 10/30, from 10 to 4 pm.

Count down to OktoBEARfest, just 5 days away! This will be the biggest OktoBEARfest ever! Bring the entire family and enjoy a fun fall festival with German music, Brats, kraut fritters, German beer, hay rides, pumpkin painting and of course take care of your Christmas shopping from all the wonderful crafters who will be located in our cabins and lodge homes. Come find all the Eagles on display throughout Eagle River. Each “Eagle” was individually commissioned by local businesses and will be displayed at different locations throughout the Eagle River area. Finding and viewing this city wide art gallery also gives locals and visitors the chance to win various prizes! Each “Eagle” has a secret letter. Each letter is a part of a phrase. Collect all the letters and rearrange them to reveal the secret message and enter into the Grand Prize Drawing. For contest rules and the contest form - click here.

Then, join us for the annual Festival of Flavors on August 28th where you’ll get a chance to own one of these one-of-a-kind pieces of art. A few of the “Eagles” will be auctioned off at the Festival of Flavors. Also, the winner will be announced on the “Eagle” that is being raffled. and the beach is packed with happy guests having fun in the sun!
