To fold the hat into a cone with a hexagon bottom


Look for "points" on the bottom. Fold on a line from the point to the center of the top. There are some dashed score lines but they are hard to see.You will have 6 equal triangular sides. Fold tab under on last edge, and glue to make the hat.





I made the pom pom out of tissue paper. Just fold paper into quarters, cut circle, and fringe. Glue two pieces together.

Watering Can Favor Boxes to cut on your Cricut

I finally figured out how to make a trapezoid shaped box more like the inspiration boxes. Here is the new picture:

I saw a watering can favor box on a wedding web site, and thought I'd try to make one, to go with the flower vases I made the other day. I couldn't get the trapazoid shape quite right, so I went to a rectangle. These would be cute mixed in with the flowers we made the other day.


With an open top, looking a bit more like a can:
