How to make your own NAME card


Have you been afraid to try inkscape? Are you not sure what you are doing? Jump right in...There are lots of great tutorials out there. If you want to try a simple project, I made up one this week. Make your own Name card. I made a file with the card in it, and then two pieces not welded onto it, that you can change to whatever name you want. To use an svg file, Open Sure Cuts A Log, and use the import to select the svg file. Resize.
Let me know how yours turns out. I had a friend over who had never used inkscape try it, and she was able to make a card for her granddaughter. You will print out a card in a solid color, the overlay letters of the name in another color, and then the paper dolls in a third color. Cut out the pieces all at once. Glue them onto the card. I just handcut a solid piece of paper for the inside of the card.
It a quick and easy project. One that you could do WITH your grandchildren or children too!
